01.Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to RaabtaQR! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RaabtaQR website at raabtaqr.com, the RaabtaQR mobile application, and all related products, services, and physical tags (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using any part of our Services, purchasing a product, or activating a RaabtaQR tag, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not access or use our Services.
These Terms apply to users in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, European Union member states, the United States, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman).
02.Definitions
- "RaabtaQR", "Company", "we", "us", "our" — refers to RaabtaQR, a business registered in Pakistan at Bahria Town Phase 4, Rawalpindi, Punjab 46000.
- "User", "Customer", "you", "your" — refers to any person who accesses our website, purchases a product, or activates a tag.
- "Tag" — refers to a physical QR and/or NFC sticker or card purchased from RaabtaQR.
- "Profile Page" — the unique private web page generated at raabtaqr.com/profile/{your-id} upon tag activation.
- "Scanner" — any third party who scans a RaabtaQR tag using a smartphone.
- "Pro Masking" — the optional monthly subscription service providing masked phone call and SMS forwarding.
- "Services" — all products, digital services, dashboards, profile pages, and features offered by RaabtaQR.
03.Use of Our Services
By using our Services, you agree to:
- Use RaabtaQR products only for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate and truthful information when activating a tag or creating an account
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
- Not use our Services to impersonate another person or entity
- Not use our Services to engage in fraud, harassment, or any illegal activity
- Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
Our Services are intended for personal, business, and commercial use in lawful contexts. You may use RaabtaQR tags for vehicle privacy, home access management, professional networking, restaurant menus, and lost-and-found purposes.
04.Intellectual Property
All content on the RaabtaQR website and application — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software code, product designs, and the RaabtaQR name and brand — is the exclusive property of RaabtaQR and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Services for personal or commercial purposes. You must not:
- Reproduce, copy, or republish any RaabtaQR content without written permission
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our software
- Use RaabtaQR trademarks, logos, or brand assets without prior written consent
- Create derivative works based on RaabtaQR's proprietary technology
05.User Accounts & Tag Activation
Each physical tag corresponds to a unique Tag ID. You must activate your tag at raabtaqr.com/activate before it becomes functional.
- Each Tag ID can only be activated once. Transferring a tag to a new owner requires contacting support.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account login credentials.
- You may enable or disable your tag at any time through your dashboard.
- Profile information you provide (name, city, emergency contact) will be publicly visible on your profile page. Your phone number will never be publicly visible.
- RaabtaQR reserves the right to deactivate tags associated with fraudulent or harmful activity.
06.Privacy & Data
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Key privacy commitments:
- Your phone number is stored encrypted and never publicly displayed
- Contact between scanners and tag owners is always mediated through our privacy layer
- You may request deletion of your data at any time
- We comply with GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), Pakistan PDPB, and applicable GCC data protection laws
07.Prohibited Uses
You must not use RaabtaQR Services to:
- Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Harass, stalk, or threaten any person
- Impersonate any individual, company, or authority
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Distribute spam or unsolicited commercial messages
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use our masked call/SMS features for harassment or nuisance calls
- Resell or sublicence access to our Services without prior written consent
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account termination without refund and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement authorities.
08.Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
RaabtaQR provides its Services "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We do not warrant that our Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
- We are not responsible for the actions of third-party scanners who interact with your tag
- We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles, property, or persons arising from use or non-use of a RaabtaQR tag
- Our maximum liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim
In jurisdictions where limitation of liability clauses are restricted (e.g., UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, EU Consumer Rights Directive), our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence is not excluded.
09.Payment Terms
All prices are displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless otherwise stated. Accepted payment methods include EasyPaisa, JazzCash, bank transfer, Cash on Delivery (COD), and Daraz.
- Prices are inclusive of applicable Pakistani sales tax unless stated otherwise
- For international orders, the customer is responsible for any applicable customs duties or import taxes
- Subscription services (Pro Masking, QR Menu) are billed monthly. Cancellation stops future billing but does not trigger a refund for the current billing period.
- In the event of a payment dispute, please contact us within 7 days of the charge
10.Refund & Return Policy
Please refer to our dedicated Return & Refund Policy page for full details. Key points:
- Return requests must be initiated within 15 days of delivery
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Monetary refunds are not provided — a credit note is issued for the value of returned items
- Damaged or defective items qualify for free replacement
- A nominal return fee of PKR 300 applies to all returns (except defective items)
- Customised products (custom-printed business cards, branded tags) are non-refundable
11.Governing Law — Pakistan
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, specifically including but not limited to:
- The Contract Act 1872
- The Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002
- The Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA)
- The Competition Act 2010
- The Consumer Protection Act applicable in Punjab
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.
12.Governing Law — International Users
For users outside Pakistan, the following apply in addition to Pakistani law:
- European Union: EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and GDPR apply to EU residents. Nothing in these Terms shall deprive EU consumers of the mandatory protections afforded by their national consumer protection laws.
- United Kingdom: UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and UK GDPR apply to UK residents.
- United States: California residents retain rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Nothing in these Terms waives any consumer protection right provided by applicable US state law.
- GCC Countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait): Applicable consumer protection and data privacy laws of the respective GCC member state apply to residents of those countries. UAE residents are also protected under Federal Law No. 24 of 2006 on Consumer Protection.
In cases of conflict between Pakistani law and a mandatory provision of your local law, the mandatory local law provision shall prevail to the extent required.
13.Amendments
RaabtaQR reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via WhatsApp notification or email. Continued use of our Services after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
